My photography is a 100% natural light photographer.  Newborn sessions take place at my home studio.  Newborn sessions must be done during the first 5-10 days of life, so it’s best to book your newborn session while you are still expecting. I do provide plenty of water but since newborn sessions can be lengthy and mainly during lunchtime, I do suggest you bring some snacks. While siblings are more than welcome to join us for photos, I like to tell parents to make arrangements to have the siblings picked up after we’ve photographed them with he baby.

Maternity sessions take place either in the studio or at an outdoor location of your choice.  There is a $100 discount when you book the Maternity/ Newborn bundle. When booking a maternity session, you will have my full range of maternity gowns, drapes, and fabrics to choose from for your session, or if you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own clothing.

Family sessions are held outdoors in the evenings.  Since every child and family is unique, I would be happy to help you choose a location that suits your family’s personality.  Outdoor sessions take place approximately 45 minutes prior to sunset to get that beautiful golden light.

I always encourage parents to ensure their child has a full tummy and is well rested as possible. While there is some basic posing involved, I love capturing children playing and families as they are.  In my opinion these are the moments that make the best images!

I like to think that my photography style is natural, organic, very relaxed and candid for the most part. As a mom of three little ones, I know how stressful it can be to get everyone looking at the camera smiling at the same time. I tell my clients not to fight it, be natural, in the moment and that will ultimately create the most special images. My goal is to capture the true personality of your child and the bond they have with mom and dad!
